He uses his power (being able to erase a choice memory of a person) to help Penelope obtain blood for the coven. Carlos Caballero: A member of the coven. A suave, handsome lady-killer. He has the power of super speed. Charlene Ryan: A woman whose true talent is playing guitar. Once a guitarist in a popular local band where she grew up, she joined in the 70's after she got turned by a groupie during one of her post-concert parties. The band sadly had to break up shortly after when Charlene decided to join the coven. Nowadays, she posts videos online as Mistress Masked Guitarist where she wears odd Halloween masks and performs song covers on her guitar. Her power allows her to shoot lightning bolts at a target of choice out of her guitar. Dahlia Rosemont: One of Victoria and Dracula’s adoptive daughters. She was the rebellious abolitionist daughter of plantation owners in the early 1800's. Eric Madden: A handsome, flirtatious vampire from the 80's. Has the ability to sense subtle movements so as to better read people’s emotions. Farrah Highgate: A stylish British woman from the 70's who loves to cook. Gladys Peppin: A young woman who was turned during the Dust Bowl when she was 18 by a serial vampire rapist. She discovered her power (the ability to create tornados) when she couldn't take her father's drunken abuse anymore. She never recovered from the trauma of her abuse and as a result, she rarely trusts men. Macheath Sharpe: A former highwayman from the 19th century turned bar server. Has the ability to shapeshift, presenting as a woman but keeping their male voice. They identify as nonbinary. Matt Black: A vampire from the 90's. He is the rival of Sakura Himura. He has the power to get stronger the angrier he is. Nadia Shibani: Victoria's adopted daughter. She is very flowery and dramatic as well as a hopeless romantic. She has the power to command the force of gravity to her will as well as being able to detect the "gravity" between people and surmise how they might connect. Penelope Common: A Hispanic woman who enjoys spending her nights partying and hooking up with random men. She uses her power (being able to persuade others to do what she wants) to convince mortals to "donate" their blood in order to help keep the coven members fed. Prim Beirne: Eric’s best friend. She’s of Irish descent, is goth, and is a lesbian. She has the power to create illusions. Roarke Higgens: A promiscuous blonde vampire from the 70's. He has the ability to duplicate an item every 12 hours, which is often used by Victoria to ensure the blood storage remains full. He has a heavy past that he tries to ignore, but influences his everyday life more than he realizes. Rose Milliner: A psychic vampire with incredible telekinetic powers, though she involuntarily reads minds as well. Almost always wears a top hat due to her love of magicians. Has anisocoria. Sakura Himura: A former samurai warrior and the older Himura sister. She is blind. Victoria Akdemir: A Turkish vampire from the 1700's who lived her entire mortal life as a slave to a British family. She is Dracula's fiance and the acting head of the coven in his absence. She is also Dahlia and Nadia's adopted mother. She has the power to summon swarms of bees and direct them to do her bidding as necessary (attack, protect, etc.). Yuriko Himura: The younger Himura sister. She is a devout Christian. She has the power to mend things by punching them. The SilverwingsAmber Yang: A respected member of the Silverwings despite only being a member for approximately 6 years. A middle-aged Asian woman in her 40's who has not-so-secret feelings for Luna (and vice-versa). She's good friends with the Grieves and Harlan. She's also one of Antoinette's mentors.
Antoinette LeBlanc: A skilled baker, owner of Whipped Dream. She loves Baking, sex, and dealing with the supernatural, in that order. Armstrong: A massive, muscular bartender and a skilled alchemist. He is in possession of a Philosopher’s Stone but only uses it to transmute materials to make better drinks. He is perfectly content owning and operating the Rhyme or Reason Karaoke Bar and helping the Silverwings when needed. Is good friends with Mack and Sierra. Hates Nicolas Flamel. He is an exceptional mage, though he is almost unbearably smug. He gained his position by saving some of the Acolytes of Ra from being massacred 13 years prior. Enrico Luna: An Italian man who is renowned as one of the most skilled hunters alive. He is extremely close with Amber Yang. Harlan Silver: The Australian hunter who once seriously wounded Eve herself, which made him a shoo-in for being a member of the Five. As the Silver family had their name tarnished due to failing to protect Dracula, he was relegated to watching over the remains of his coven in Rhine City, a job he thinks is by far the most important thing the Silverwings are doing. Absolutely loves his daughter as well as her boyfriend. Levi Travis: A rugged Southern guy who is gaining field experience through his assignment in Rhine City (along with his cousin, Antoinette). He's currently in a one year relationship with Mara and loves her to pieces. He respects her completely and accepts her albinism and vampirism. Though he could probably use a comb through his hair now and then, he's got a heart of gold and means well. He also loves pasta. Marama “Mara” Silver: Harlan Silver’s albino daughter. She was turned into a vampire by a rogue the Silverwings had been tracking. She’s a bit cheeky and rowdy, but, in general, is a nice girl. She has the power to determine weaknesses in people and objects, be they physical or emotional. Marina Iseul: A Korean-American ice mage. Talia Ishtar: A snooty Egyptian martial artist. She was taken in by the Silverwings after her parents, members of the now defunct Egyptian hunter group the Acolytes of Ra, were massacred in the year 2004. The Loomer street gangAnna Eckehard: The daughter of a former lawyer who was attacked by one of the many gangs in the city and left permanently blinded. She joined the Loomer Street Gang after being caught beating up a man who tried grabbing her butt after a shift at a local coffee shop. Her most iconic trait is her blue hair. She currently seeks revenge on her father's former "friends" for abandoning him after he was attacked.
David Paine: Rika's best friend and honorary brother. He was the only survivor of a house fire that killed his family. He wears a sweatshirt all the time, claiming he's very cold. Jason “Loveless” Leeds: A vigilante who wants to help end crime in the city. He was once an aspiring actor until he served a year in jail for manslaughter after killing his abusive father. (Note: If using the face claim photo, imagine with dreads.) Lilith Crowley: A perky goth girl who is the driver in Jason’s gang. She has snow-white hair and a scar over her right eye. She tries her best to emulate her father, who vanished thirteen years prior. Valentine Leeds: A perpetually-cheerful young man, and Jason’s little brother. He styles himself after 80's Michael Jackson and even has the red “Thriller” jacket. He is undeniably sweet, but also rather snarky. Minerva's CrewAkina Sawa: A young black woman who works as the gang's driver. She has heterochromia (one brown eye and one hazel eye) and usually wears black clothing regardless of the weather. She's got a massive crush on and is hopelessly pining for Debra. She lives in an overcrowded house full of family members, many of whom immigrated from Africa.

Debra Nelson: A very short, muscular woman with lilac-grey hair who works as an informant for Minerva. She is extremely lethargic and loves coffee. She has been on the run from Jemima for ten years and is trying to find a way to remove the toxic influence of Ryo from Jemima’s life. Rita Rigby: Daughter of the former police chief, Ellen Rigby, she had a troubled and neglectful childhood. She remained cheerful, perky, and optimistic through it all and now lives with her Uncle Matt and his husband, Itsuki. She acts as a courier between Brightside’s and Minerva’s crew. Vinny Tosto: An Italian man who owns a burger shop called Vinny’s. Has dwarfism. Minor CharactersJolene Becker: The owner of Jolene's.

Cyrus Lovelace: The vampire who turned Dahlia, he was a former slave owner in the American South. After being thwarted by Dracula, he joined the Confederacy, and when they failed, he joined Eve’s coven. Dallas Ryder: A handsome cowboy and perhaps the most popular member of Eve’s coven. He is friends with Gabby. He has the power to control the trajectory of anything he throws or fires from his gun as long as it is visible to him. Gabriella “Gabby” Cross: A 19 year old gal who lived as an orphan her entire mortal life before being adopted and turned by Marianna Cross (who she considers her only and true mother) in the 70's. She has the power to control another's movements through puppetry. Jack Fairchild: Jack the Ripper himself. A beautiful young man who had his mind twisted by Eve into becoming her vicious attack dog. Can no longer go ten minutes without disturbing or repulsing everyone around him. He doesn’t simply drink blood; he cannibalizes his victims. Has the power to move through shadows. Johan “Jojo” Faust: A vampire from WWI Germany. He is known for being sweet and playful, but his time in Eve’s coven has been troubled due to being enslaved to Jack. He has the power to redirect any damage done to him to someone else. Kane the Silent: A viking warlord who was taken as a slave by vikings in the 8th century before turning on his masters and becoming a feared warrior in his own right. He rarely speaks. He is friends with Gabby. He has the power to unleash sonic waves with his voice (a la Black Bolt or, yes, the Dragonborn). Kristoph Höllenfeuer: A former Nazi general who headed a group of supernatural investigators under Hitler’s command known as Enigma. He was turned after looking into Eve’s existence. He has the power to generate explosive tracking bombs from his hands. Marianna Cross: The woman responsible for Dracula’s death, swayed to the act by the cunning machinations of Eve. She is not a bad person, but is horribly misguided. Still pines for Nadia, her former lover and the daughter of Dracula. Loves her daughter Gabby, though their relationship is strained due to Eve’s pressure. Has the power to enter mirrors. Michelle Kitt: A cat burglar turned vampire. She is friends with Gabby. Has the ability to move silently and ignore sacred hospitality rules. Nestor Sokolov: A lost cosmonaut. Is never seen outside of his black space suit; no one but Amon knows what his face looks like. Is friends with Gabby. Has the ability to phase through objects. Pierre Labeau: A boogeyman from the bayous of Louisiana, distinctive due to having two irises and two pupils in each eye as well as a mutilated nose that gives his face a skull-like appearance. He is friends with Gabby. He has powers similar to Spider-Man, as well as incredibly virulent venom. Rex Hart: A loud, brash vampire with a fondness for leather jackets. He can rarely go a single sentence without swearing. Is known in some circles as “The Suicide King” due to his power: if his body is ever damaged to the point where he ‘dies’, his corpse becomes a mobile bomb which will seek and destroy a target; Rex will reappear a short time later, completely unharmed. He carries a revolver loaded with silver bullets to kill himself quickly if need be. His right hand sometimes shakes and twitches. Rhapsody von Braun: A beatnik artist who walks with a limp due to a car accident from when she was a mortal. She has the power to bring to life anything she paints. Her power also allows her to paint quicker and in elaborate ways, though it is really just enhancing her natural artistic skill ever so slightly. Tony Sugar: A candyman and the spokesman for Lost Paradise Candy Company. The Vampire killersAnthony Moore: A bald, bearded vampire killer known for being skilled with crossbows. He has frequent bouts in prison and is a registered sex offender.
Flynn Dangerfield: A young vampire killer. He has a scar from the top of his right temple vertically across his face to the left side of his chin. He is a genuinely good person and really doesn’t want to be a killer, but is pressured to by his father. Hannah Starr: A young spellcaster and descendant of Merlin. She is very proud of her skills. Her parents put a lot of pressure on her to excel at magic. Jerrod Carter: A sleazy, womanizing vampire killer. He has a jacket with a scorpion on it. Loves to tell the story of how he tied up a werewolf with tape. Is estranged from his Silverwing brother Charlie due to something that happened with Charlie's girlfriend. Randall Quincey: One of the Quincey brothers. Is rather nervous, awkward, and has a stutter. Is a very sweet boy. Timothy Dangerfield: Flynn’s father and one of the most feared vampire killers ever. Has one arm and scars all over his face due to a battle with a werewolf that went sour. Absolutely despises Flynn and thinks he’s a waste. Vincent Quincey: Randall’s older brother. Always looks tired and often pretends to sleep. Has harbored feelings for Hannah since childhood. Wilhelmina “Mina” Lovett: The latest in the Lovett family, a family of vampire killers who have a dark pact with Unseelie Fae to gain enhanced lifespans and powerful weapons in exchange for each generation’s firstborn child. She was trained as an anti-magic child soldier since birth. She can be brainwashed into complying to any order with a specific phrase. Jemima mathers & AssociatesJemima Mathers: A middle-aged woman who has a reputation as one of the wealthiest and most influential people in the city. Has alliances with many people of power (other rich folk, the police, etc.). Seeks to end petty crime in the city. Wants to drive a former employee out of the city and tirelessly has worked to meet this goal.
Kenzo Mochizuki: Ryo’s faithful yet stoic bodyguard. Often tries to reign his boss in. Macavity: Jemima’s faithful bodyguard and valet. Used to work for Ryo, who nicknamed him after a character from his favorite musical (Macavity was unamused, but the name stuck and he’s fine with it). Ryo Amano: Jemima’s close friend. He is a successful businessman and commands a great number of mercenaries. He is slightly unhinged. Other important charactersAiden Edley: A young white gay transgender man who has serious self-esteem issues. He spends most of his time caring for his mom, who suffers from depression and anxiety. He loves his mom, but he wants nothing more than to find a life he wants to live and to become the man he knows he is.
Chastity Collins: A young blonde woman who works as an exotic dancer at the Den of Sin. She would do anything to protect her best friend, Morag. She's quite happy and upbeat, but buried deep in her closet are self-esteem issues and a past she tries desperately to forget. Grigori Rasputin: The Mad Monk of Russia. A staunch ally of Dracula and a former student of his. Was born a dhampyr but is now a full-fledged vampire. He has the power to detach a spider-like membrane containing his consciousness which can enter and overtake another person’s body. Iris Ravencroft: The daughter of Minerva’s friends, Morgan and Nigel Ravencroft. She works as a waitress at Brightside’s. Morag Macduff: A Scottish woman and the assistant manager at the Den of Sin. Despite her senior status, Remy still makes her do demeaning gloryhole work. Was once an alcoholic due to her severe depression, but has made a huge turnaround. Remy Delacroix: The sleazy, gold-toothed manager of the Den of Sin. He fancies himself a powerful pimp, but in reality, is just a greasy white boy who made good connections with a few criminal factions. Has a sprawling criminal bunker located under the Sin for when his benefactors need a place to hide out. Rue Rheingold: A barista and Rita's best friend and neighbor. Is a bit dry and sarcastic. Ryker Hudson: An extremely introverted man working as an exotic dancer at the Den of Sin. Though he doesn't talk very much, he's rather sweet and caring about those around him. He's Chastity's "dance neighbor" since he performs next to her. Sierra Alasa: A black woman with thick curly blonde hair. She is the older sister of Jason and Valentine Leeds. She suffers from severe PTSD on account of the abuse she endured from her father for nearly her entire childhood. She's a newly turned vampire who hates it and wishes she was mortal again. She's also a retired underground fighter who spends every night sitting at the Rhyme or Reason Karaoke Bar drinking as much beer as she can and eating buffalo chicken wings, her all-time favorite food. Venus Crowley: Lilith’s twin sister. Stars in a motorcycle stunt show at the Fordlandia amusement park under the moniker Scarlet Love. Has a special motorcycle named Lady which she loves almost as much as she loves women. Is a bit of a ditz and a hopeless romantic.
